  • I know what you mean. The first thing I look for when I pull up RunningwithEric is the Hillary Cat. 2.5 of last night's 3 miles was at my goal pace for the Race for the Cure. I might not end up embarrassing myself on Race Day. My Road ID came in the mail yesterday, so I wore it last night and felt much more confident that I might not end up in a "Jane Doe" grave should someone kill me when I'm out running in the dark. Love you muchly!
  • Ugh! This is the first time I've run since Sunday thanks to the rain. I'm much happier now.
  • I am a lazy bum today. I intended to run, but my body insisted that I needed another hour of sleep this morning. I may try to sneak in a run tonight after the sun goes down. Love you!
  • Look at you go! Another 3 miles today! I'm almost afraid to ask this, but how long does it take you to run those 3 miles?

    Love you muchly!
  • 4 miles on a work morning? All right, Hillary!
  • You go, girl! I'm so proud when I see your name pop up in the "Dustin's Run Mojo" forum. It's like we're running together, but at different times and in different cities. Love you!
  • Yeah, it seems a shame to have these long, long legs and not be throwing them as far in front of us as we can.
  • I'm pretty proud of myself as well. It wasn't fast, but I felt pretty good during and after. Thanks for the atta-girl.

How goes the mid-foot striking? Is it starting to feel more natural?

    Love you, too, very much.
  • Blerg! I'm tired of being the tortoise! I want to be the hare!

I had a little motivational help today from a territorial crow who decided that of all the people running around the lake, I was the one he didn't want in his area. He dive-bombed three or four times whenever I passed through his little domain. It did encourage me to pick up my pace.
  • Cool! Will you try to run the 5K in them this weekend? I'm eager to hear your report on them.
