Just want to share my experience with some newer handhelds and hydration packs and thought this might make a good forum for discussion....BIG thumbs up on the Ultimate Direction handheld "Jurek Grip". It's part of the Signature Series. I hate handhelds, but finally found one I love. It has a velcro strap as opposed to a buckle type that always loosens when I run. I can also get it to fit my small hands better. It doesn't have the bulky pocket for gels (which may or may not be a plus depending on preference). Used em on my last 50k and 50 miler and loved it! Fast flow spout and does NOT leak!!

Hydration pack? I've ordered and returned several this year and finally settled on the Ultimate Direction Wink. used it on my near 15 hour 50 miler in the colorado rockies. Never rubbed or chaffed. Plenty of room for gels, phone, uhhh...toilet paper! Super light. Carries up to 70oz of water...for when you..errr..I am moving so slow its more than 2-3 hours to the next aid station! The men's version is the Wasp. Has bungie cord on back which was nice to be able to secure my wind jacket without having to stuff it IN my pack. also a pocket on the back for an extra hydration bottle, gels or whatever...quick access. Fast flow spout on the tubing. My favorite pack hands down!!!!
