Hi All,
I have completed the Cool Impossible plan!! Fantastic!! My 5km went from 26:31 min to 22:28 min and I got a substantial increase in strength for the hills. Will share more of my experience or a blog if people are interested.
Unfortunately before finishing the plan I stepped on a dog bone and got a stone bruise on my foot. This has been causing discomfit for 5 weeks and stopping me getting started with round 2 of the Cool Impossible Plan to be sub 20min 5k.
How do you deal with set backs? The fear of loosing fitness gained through the Cool Impossible Plan is stopping the healing process by going out on runs to "maintain" fitness.
Any advice on what I should be doing while running is limited? Maybe modified strength work without going on the forefoot?
Ben
