Hello All,

I completed the Stowe 8 Miler this morning in 1:10:02. I thought I was using good form through-out the race (good foot strike).  After looking at the pictures my wife took toward the finish line, I was heel striking!!!  Arghhh!!!

I just received the slant and wobble board last week.  I look forward to working to success!!

Heh...frustrating, Man I will tell you that muscle/form memory takes time....like a long freaking time! Also as you fatigue you may be falling back into what form you are most used to (ie...your form at the beginning of that same race likely looked different than the finish) . Don't be too disappointed. It is always a work in progress. My form is far better than it was 3 years ago, but it took a loooong time and a slow process with ups and downs and some sideways in between over 3 years. I am finally experiencing some intense running/racing without injury, something I could not attest to in years past. And believe me it still takes work and tweaking to keep it good.
