I run about 20 miles a week and have had all kinds of pain when running, except when running uphill. After reading "Born to Run" and some internet research, I bought the Nike Free 2 shoes and started running with forefoot strike: (ergo, like running uphill) Result: OMG!!! My calves have been burning, but it feels so right. I have another 15 weeks left for my first marathon, need to step up mileage but mentally it feels great!
