My B2R Road shoe review

Hi, before I get into the review I think it's important to talk about myself. I've been running off and on for about 8 years. I've been "performance running" for 3 years. A huge,huge thanks to Eric for showing those videos on how to forefoot strike. The main reason I run because it keeps me in shape and forces me to eat better. I'm currently running 30+ miles/week. I only race 1 to 2 races a year. And I'm currently training for my first 50k trail race.

What to take on your long distance mountain run?

Hi everyone, I thought I should put this post up since I haven't seen one up. After all it is summer time and I know people like to go to the mountains this time of the year.


On my trail runs I like to take my hydra pak(2L)

First aid kit

Cell phone

Swiss army knife

Plenty of food

Map of the area

Running buddy (which I need)

Pain in lower calf muscle

Hello everyone, last week during my tempo run I got a sudden sharp pain in my left lower calf muscle. It was as if a demon came out of the dirt and whipped it, lol. So I immediately slowed down to a jog and every step was painful after that. So when I got home I iced it and took ibuprofen and then took 4 days off from running. Then yesterday I tried jogging on it and it still hurts. I jogged for about 20 minutes  to see if it would go away as I  warmed up but it did not. I have had soreness…
