When is the best time to do the strength training, before or after running?

Good question Matt and welcome to the site.

I would keep it simple and do strength BEFORE easy runs and AFTER more challenging runs.

Once you get into it, look also to do one set of movement and balance sequence before any run as a warm up and muscle activation for the run.

Upper body/core strength can be done any time.

Thank you Eric for the quick response.  Thanks for keeping up on this sight...it has been really helpful.

When I get to where I am doing foot strength for the warmup...would I use that warmup even on a day when the calendar says to do foot strength after the run?  Does that make sense?  So are there days where I would foot strength warmup, run workout and then a regular foot strength session?

Oh yea....I have really loved the shoes.
