For those not using the metric system the run gained almost 1,000 feet in 1.9 miles. There was some bitumen but most of the run was on loose gravelled road that I had never run before.

Wow, Robert, that's a crazy climb in a short distance!  Your average stride rate is still pretty good considering the elevation gain.

Thanks Jay, I walked a couple of times for about 2-2.5 min which made my HR look better than it was. I've also posted another run I did yesterday that contained an even steeper descent that I only managed to just keep control of.
