Hello Eric and everyone here! I have a question about zero drop and water proof shoes. I have used Altra Lone Peak RSM (Rain, Snow, Mud) for a long time, and have found they used to be much better in quality, but as time went on, the glued seams come apart fairly quickly, and they seem to compress in the footbed. I can not find a better wide toe box though, so I have stayed with them until now. I currently am wearing INOV-8 Terraultra G260, and while they are okay, I can definitely feel they are too narrow. What I would like to know is if anyone used to zero drop has tried switching to 4mm or slightly more, and what the result might be. Maybe concentrating on Eric's foot strengthening would help alleviate transitioning soreness/pain. Eric, do you switch a lot between different drop amounts without any problems? I am looking for as shoe with a wide toe box, that is waterproof. I used to wear NorthFace Hedgehogs many years ago...those were a bit heavy, and had a significant drop, but were very waterproof. Thanks for any help! Best, John
