I had an enforced break of 27 days where I was nursing an injury and also it was my busiest time of year. I am in training for the Copper Canyon Ultra (47 miles) in March and have only 9 weeks to go. I have restarted training this week and feel fine but should I ease back into my program or just jump straight back in at the point I should be at?

I think to jump straight back in would be tough as I am scheduled to do a long 30 miler on Sunday and while I am not overawed by this I think it would be more prudent to just do a 13 -16 miler and see how I feel after this.

The 30 miler was to include walking for 20 mins each hour anyway so maybe I should just jump straight back in.....or maybe not....I used to be indecisive and now I'm not sure....any help or advice is much appreciated
