I recently purchased The Cool Impossible, and so far I've been loving it. Would it be recommended for me to buy the strength training program as well? Or are the exercises described well enough in the book that I won't need the strength training program and/or equipment?

Russell - Not sure why this post is coming thru now??  But hope the training is going well and you should not need the DVD program unless you are interested in adding more variety to your exercise library.  And if you have your own slant board and disk, no need to buy another.
