I finished my first 100 miler a few days ago, Burning River 100 in Ohio. Apart for some tough (stomach) moments it went well and I was able to finish strong.
I used both "Level 1" and "Level 2" of the B2R Strength Training program, and I think it helped a lot. I did not feel any weakness in my back, hips, or glutes during the race (even late in the race), though my legs were certainly sore and tired (mostly my quads).
