In that case, I’ve got a long way to go. I need to get from my current 6:48 1-mile time to 5:06.

I wonder how quickly I could do it without doing myself any harm? In any case, I reckon I should just follow your training program in The Cool Impossible.

What do do you think? Besides that I’m simply crazy. ;)

Is it possible? How long do you reckon it’ll take?

Hey Ryan - for a 1:20 half, I would peg your mile time ability at 5:06-5:08.  This would put you right in the middle of Speed Zone 3 in The Cool Impossible chart.

How can I apply this to half marathon times? I’m aiming for a 1h20m half marathon.

Hi Eric,

Love your videos and your book.  In your last video you asked what the viewers would like to see more of.  I would like to see parts of your videos include a component on the elements of proper running form.  I understand that you have covered these topics extensively in your book and other videos but often times it helps me if the same material is covered again but in a different way.

Thanks,

Conrad
