Hi! I got back to Bangalore after spending a week at Coonoor, up in the Nilgiris Hills in Southern India. I had planned to start on the Strategic Foundation Program (Week 1)  and was looking forward to it. Unfortunately, I got started on the program on Tuesday last week as planned, but could not get anything else done the rest of the week due to bad weather. It rained continuously for 4 days with dense fog. I know that most trainers would say that we have to train through adverse conditions because it might be raining on race day, but...I was completely ill-prepared for this weather. I did not have spare shoes or the clothes to run in wet weather and decided to quietly put off my start by a week.

I must add that I had looked up the weather forecast on weather.com and they had NOT predicted this rain :-)

Any way, I will keep you guys posted on how next week pans out. I have quietly promised myself that I will get started. From my past experiences, once I get started, I have stuck to the training program. So, I am quite confident that I will get started this week and stay the course.
