  • Funny Mark!  I thought the same thing!

  • Hey barb - thanks for the great review.  One of my big goals with designing a shoe was to make one that fits everyone - well.  I think we nailed it and again, thanks.  Keep us posted.

And keep up the foot strength - very simple but very potent!

  • First run in my born 2 run shoes last night and WOW is an understatement. Ran 3 miles in them and I finally feel like someone made a pair of shoes that were made for my feet. They were super comfortable. When I first put them on, slippers is the first thought that came to mind..my feet felt nice and snug in them. They didn't feel tight, they felt like they "fit".

I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about the big toe being separated but I feel like because it is I had much more stability in my foot strike...or was at least much more aware of how my big toe should participate in my foot strike.

I usually run in a 4mm Brooks Pure Cadence shoe. Sorry to say those are going to be retired to lawn mowing duties.

I also tried out Eric's strength training video level 1 this morning and was again rewarded with a phenomenal training tool. It far exceeded my expectations. If you haven't bought it already, it will be the best $$ you ever spent on running/training tools, without a doubt.

His passion for creating superior athletes comes through, I loved how he used a man who did 10 triathlons with 3 Hawaii wins and was able to see that even the most fit athletes can benefit from his training techniques, even he had to work on his technique and form.

Tonight, is my track practice workout...can't wait to see how my shoes perform with speed work.

Eric...a huge "high five" from NY....you nailed it!
