Hi Eric,Wanted to get your perspective on optimal hip rotation. I've seen a number of drills oriented around increasing hip rotation by "running the line". I've tried this a few times and it definitely feels different. Before I invest more time in it I want to make sure this is something I want to groove in my running form. Appreciate your thoughts. Thanks,Clay
Sounds good Eric. I think this is a key missing ingredient of my training.
Can't wait for the DVDs - stop teasing and start shipping! Also - when is your foot strengthening device (that you demo'd on tour) going to be available?
Hip rotation is extremely important, especially for runners who are so used to going "north and south" so to speak. Hip rotation exercises are a big part of training my athletes and is a prime focus in my up and coming DVD training series (sorry for the plug, there are coming).
I also use these exercises in a variety of ways to help activate the glute - which should be the focus of every runner.
