Hello! I read The Cool Impossible over the last couple of weeks and got signed up on this site yesterday. I run as a hobby and have been running an average of 1-2 Full and/or Half Marathons a year for the last 7-8 years.

As I approach 50, I got introduced to La Ultra, The High (thehigh.in) through my buddy Dr. Rajat Chauhan who also happens to be an Ultra Runner and part of the organising team at La Ultra. He has got me seriously thinking about trying the EleventyOne at the La Ultra in August 2014. I read CI with the hope that it will be my first step towards the La Ultra. I will keep you guys posted on my progress.

For now, I am in Day 5 of the 20-day No Sugar Diet. Though I have not been much of a sugar guy over the last several months, I was eating the odd cookie and drinking the odd Coke. I don't expect the 20-days of no sugar to be a challenge. Let's see how it goes

Bye for now

Just read Sharon Geyter's race report. I'm short of breath and nauseated just reading about it! Looks incredibly amazing! Boy, if you have the opportunity to do the 111, go for it! Best wishes at whatever you go after! Demand the impossible!

Welcome and good to see you here.  Keep us posted on La Ultra.  I think you should go for it.
