Hi everyone,

just joined the site and look forward to learning more about barefoot training and running in general.

I train once a week with a group and coach, barefoot we do 100 ups and similar drills then some running drills which has been good fun(sort of) and we finish off with some stretching. I'm trying to do at least 2 more runs per week and am trying to get it up to 3 per week to build up some k's, those runs are an interval run and longer distance with a fast finish. I'm wanting to do the Melbourne Marathon again this year and finish better than last year a disappointing 5:03 with extremely painful feet, pretty sure it was all my fault I wore a pair of minimalist shoes for the race, and I hadn't done enough time in the shoes to get my best out of them or my feet. All my training this year has been using minimalist shoes and vff's or barefoot.

cheers brendan
