Back in September 2015 I spent a few days in Jackson Hole with Eric on one of his run camps

I’d been hatching a Cool Impossible to run (solo) one of the long distance footpaths in the UK. I challenge not only of running ability but also navigation and logistical support.

Run slow to go faster?

After my time with Eric last September his plan was for me to run as much as possible in HRZ2 which for me is 134 to 144 BPM, Aiming to build endurance. At first it felt weird because its so 'slow'. But after several months I can feel my endurance building. And my pace and heart rates are interesting as well! Based on 10 mile and more runs, Averages are

November 13:15 min mile with HR 145

January 12:47 min mile HR 139

February 11:12 min mile HR 140

Thanks for your help Rich but 1 last question, I'm redoing Erics marathon training program jumping in at week 4 as its 16 weeks to the half and wondered is there any spacific part of my training that I should I modify to any great extent.

Hi Rich hope you & yours are well. As I've heard that only the "in" crowd run the half marathon I've signed up for a trail half marathon at the end of February next year.
I was wondering if your could suggest any changes I might make to a marathon program (if you would make any) that will help me in the half. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
