I have a new foot injury, not that I get injured that often. I do suffer from Plantar Fasciitis I have had it in both feet and manage the onset well now. Last week while on day one of week eight of the Foundation course, on the cool down I got a sharp pain in my right foot. Its on the outside midfoot sore to touch and does make my foot tight. Working the slant board does help relieve it but it returns.
It been just over a week now I was running in my village so on paths and walkways, nothing different to normal. I’m an experienced runner of many years this injury is new to me. Might have to visit the Physio.
Any advice or diagnosis is welcome

A quick update, after a trip to the physiotherapist and then the podiatrist my "cuboid" bone was displaced, after 20 minutes of matriculation it finally went back into place. I have rested for four days and ran an easy 6 miles.... far too early on the recovery route. I contacted the podiatrist again and she advised a week or two rest. If its not good after that then a visit to the Osteopath is required.
