Greetings,
I'm just starting the 24-week 100 mile training program in preparation for the Leadville 100M at the end of August. Race Day is listed at the end of the training program - but there's no guidance for how to run the race itself. Any pointers? I'm assuming that since the training regimen is so specific, there is also an optimal approach to running the race based on the previous 6 months work.
This is my first 100 miler. My longest distance ever has been 30 miles, so I'm really in new personal territory and could use some advice.
Thanks!
Gus

Hey Gus - Thanks so much for your interest in my training plan. You answered your own question. My approach to the last 8 weeks of the plan is to train you specifically, so you experience everything possible to take this knowledge to your race. This goes for nutrition as well. So as you dive in, please feel free to ask specific questions in the Forum section and hope to see you in Leadville.
Thanks again - E
