After 5 and a half weeks on the 6 week intro programme, I had to stop and rest because my foot hurt. I've been resting it ever since, it's slowly getting better, and I think I've figured out what the problem was. So, once that soreness finally wears off, I plan to start right from the beginning again. Only this time, I want to start with stronger feet, with a pre-training programme of foot and stance leg strengthening, based on Eric's videos and advice. Does this make sense? And if so, how long should I give it? A week? Two weeks? A month? I want to get running again as soon as possible, but I don't want to break down again....
Any advice very gratefully received.
