What are your thoughts about rest weeks? I have been building toward a half and the original training schedule that I was following had rest weeks built in. 3 weeks of building and then an easy week. I have been skipping the rest weeks for the last couple of cylces but wonder if this is smart.

Permalink Reply by Jon Michael Olsen on August 12, 2012 at 1:02pm Took last week as a cutback week as suggested. Mainly I just cut back my long run for the week but this week was a great running week. Even my long run for the week this morning was awesome! The best long run in quite a while.
