I have a minor quad strain (hurt it running too hard downhill last week). Any opinions on whether I should race a half marathon this weekend? My main goal is I'm running Boston next month (6 weeks away), so I don't want to jeopardize that. But I would like to do the half marathon on Sunday if it's not going to set me back.
I hurt the quad on Saturday last week, and the race is next Sunday. So that is a full week of no running, and I've been icing, compressing, walking (with no pain).
