Hi all.  I'm still very new at all of this and wondered if any of you had any advice on what to be looking for when investing in running gear such as pants, tops and packs.  Thanks.

Comfort and ease! Clothing is pretty individual and depends on climate. With clothing I usually go for cheaper unless I KNOW it is something i reaaallly reaallly like or am spoiled to. Running tights are usually something I pay a little more for...cheaper versions dont keep me warm and like to slide down like bad panty hose! nothing like hiking up your tights every 5 minutes....or..well.. the alternative! I really like injinji socks. They are 5 finger socks. They keep me from getting blisters between toes on long runs. I also pay a little more for hydration packs. I love the Ultimate Direction line, I have the Wink. Super light, balanced, doesn't bounce around or rub raw areas. But... I have found a new love in the nathan synergy dual hydration bladder...I just bought the bladder seperate and put it in my Wink hydration pack which has worked well.
