Hi All! It's been ages since I took time to visit here with all you wonderful folks. As promised, I am pleased to report that I have met my CI objectives for 2015. I had promised to run 3 back to back marathons in September, October and November. I turned 50 this year and I wanted to prove to myself that it is okay to be 50!
I did run the Kaveri Trail Marathon,(kaveritrailmarathon.com) in September, the Bengaluru Marathon (bengaulurmarathon.com) in October and the Bangalore Ultra (bangaloreultra.com) a week ago. The Bangalore Ultra was a special birthday gift to myself. I wanted to run 50K at 50.
Going to take a 2-3 week break now and start thinking about next year! Toying with the idea of a 100K

I am considering a 111K at La Ultra 2017. If you want to run 222/333 in 2016, I will offer to be personal crew. I have experience from 2014 and 2015 :-) Do think about it
The run has 3 distances - 111, 222 and 333K to be completed in 24/48 or 72 hours. Most of the run is between 10,000 to 11,000 feet but there is one pass of 17,500 feet approximately for every 111 Kms. So, the 111 K route goes over Khardung La (about 17,600 feet), the 222 includes Khardung La and another pass named Wari La (also around 17,500 feet) and the 333 includes, Khardung La, Wari La and Tanglang La (around 17,500 feet) again.
I am happy to help with whatever information that you or anyone else on this group might want to help with their decision to try this race out.
