Hi Eric.

I just finished phase 2 on Sunday with 8 weeks to go until a 14km road race I run each year.

Last year I did it in under 70 mins for the first time. Hoping to get 60-65mins this time and under 60 is TCI.

Was thinking of starting phase 1 again now with the HRs and Speed zones from the start of phase 2 and doing the first half of this phase over the 6 weeks prior to the race with the last week prior with lower miles. Is this good preparation?

Hi Mark

Id say that's great preparation, I'm on week 5 of Phase two, I ran a 1/2 marathon at week 9 of phase one and I cut 13 minutes off my best time, and at week three of Phase two I ran my first marathon 04:14:00. I'm going to try and keep going around and around phase 1 & 2.
