Just curious if anyone has heard from our illustrious leader Eric?  I figure he is busy with racing season ramping up and his clients, but was just curious.  To anyone running a race anytime soon: GOOD LUCK!!!!

I chatted with Eric about 5days ago about some foot exercises. i think the week before that he was in Cali and mentioned he'd be out of communicato'.
Mark,

Thanks, I figured with the racing season ramping up he was busy with races and clients. Are you registered for any other races now that you are an ultra-running stud? :-)

Rich
lol, 'stud'. i have another 50km coming up in early June, this one hopefully will be faster than my first :)>

there is this 8km corporate race i'll be doing this weekend. I have no idea how to run a race that it so (relatively) 'short'. it will take just 'running as fast as i can', i guess. the cool thing is that i've done this 8km for 3 years now so it will be a great indicator of 'improvement' in fitness.

you still preparing for that mountain marathon? (is it a trail run?)
Good luck Mark on the corporate. Im still taking it slow to recover from my marathon. Low and slow. Low HR and working on my diet to shed a few lbs. How is you lb loss going Rich?
Got some Five Fingers and was wondering if you know of forum with a discussion of how often to wear them per week to be most effective. I'm not planning to go barefootn, but who knows. I did run 4.5 in them the other day and did not feel any more sore than maybe a longer run in regular shoes of 10 to 15.
Thanks guys,
Paul
Mark,

Good luck in the race, yes it is a trail run so it should be interesting. After the trail marathon in June I am going to do a 4 miler in July, then a trail half in August and then a 50k in September.

Paul, the weight loss is going I am losing slowly but surely, I think doing bodyweight exercises three days a week along with running helps. I haven't heard about how much you should use Vibrams, I know Eric has them as part of his foot strengthening program. I transitioned a couple of months ago to running in my Nike Frees fulltime and I feel great. When I ran my half earlier this month all I got was a blister on my arch. Good luck with the recovery Paul and congrats on finishing the race!!
