Hi All. I have been barefoot running in Nike free's for a yearand a half now. LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! Been training hard for the 2 oceans Ultra in Cape Town (lots of hills) AND I now have this nasty aching pain in my anterior shin muscle. Does anyone have any advice as Doc says rest or operation to cut the fascia. I am going out of my mind because all I can do now is cycle. Max, London

Actually run barefoot. Take it slow and learn good and proper form from the feedback your feet give you (they will strengthen a lot too). Then, when you need shoes, duplicate your actual barefoot form as closely as possible. Enjoy!
